Metal Trapezium Wall Sculpture – Trapezium Collage
Trapezium Collage is a geometric welded metal trapezium wall sculpture I created using reclaimed steel tools and hardware. I enjoy building pieces that highlight the character of old materials, and with this piece, I brought together a collection of industrial parts inside a bold geometric form.
First, I built the trapezium frame using a section of motorcycle chain, which gives the piece its strong industrial outline. Then I arranged a variety of reclaimed tools and hardware inside the frame. The collage includes vintage wrenches, nuts, bolts, a wood screw, and other salvaged steel components, creating a layered industrial composition.
Because every part already had its own history, the textures and tones add natural depth and visual interest. As a result, the piece feels both mechanical and artistic.
Next, I finished the sculpture with a raw steel surface sealed with a clear coat. This protects the metal while preserving the natural patina and character of the materials.
At 11 inches tall and 13 inches wide, Trapezium Collage works well as industrial wall décor. For example, it can hang on a gallery wall or be displayed in an office, workshop, studio, or modern living space.
This welded metal trapezium wall sculpture appeals to collectors of industrial art, geometric metal sculptures, and reclaimed tool artwork. Because each sculpture is built by hand from reclaimed steel, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
