Trapezium Collage – Industrial Metal Wall Art
This industrial metal wall art piece is built from reclaimed tools, motorcycle chain, and old steel hardware. I wanted it to have a strong geometric shape, but still feel rough, mechanical, and full of character.
The outside frame is made from motorcycle chain, which gives the piece a solid industrial outline. Inside the frame, I welded in a mix of vintage wrenches, nuts, bolts, a wood screw, and other reclaimed steel parts. Every piece has its own marks, wear, and texture, so the finished sculpture has a lot to look at without feeling too polished.
The raw steel is sealed with a clear coat to help protect the finish while keeping the natural patina and color of the metal visible.
At about 11 inches tall and 13 inches wide, this welded metal trapezium wall sculpture works well in a workshop, office, studio, garage, man cave, or industrial-style living space. Handmade near Kansas City, Missouri, this is a one-of-a-kind wall piece built from real tools and salvaged steel.
