Welded Metal Golfer Sculpture
This welded metal golfer sculpture is built from reclaimed steel and old shop materials. It has a clean golf swing shape with a raw, industrial look that keeps it simple and solid.
I made the body from a railroad spike, used square-head nails for the arms and legs, and added a ball bearing for the golf ball. The materials are simple, but they work well together. Each piece still shows its own marks, texture, and worn steel character, which gives the sculpture a more rugged, shop-built feel.
The figure is shaped like a golfer mid-swing, making it a good fit for anyone who likes golf, sports decor, or handmade metal art. It has enough personality to stand out, but it’s not oversized or overdone.
At about 9 inches tall, this piece is easy to display on a desk, shelf, tabletop, office display, bar, or man cave setup. It would make a solid gift for a golfer, coach, golf fan, or someone who likes industrial sports decor with a handmade feel.
The raw steel is sealed with a clear coat to help protect the finish while keeping the natural color, patina, and texture of the metal visible. Handmade near Kansas City, Missouri, this stand-alone, one-of-a-kind piece is built from real reclaimed parts and made to hold its own.
